Occasions furniture is made using high quality rust proof aluminium and mostly sand cast in the traditional manner. Sand casting ensures that each component piece is completely solid, a fact which gives substantial weight and intrinsic strength to all of our products. By casting in sand we also able to re-create the hand made feel and detail which makes Occasions furniture so distinctive.

Occasions aluminium furniture is coloured using specialist polyester powders formulated for use outdoors. All coatings are highly resistant UV, harsh weather conditions and are approved by Qualicast and conform to all necessary British Standards. Prior to coating the furniture is primed with chromate enriched solution which ensures superior adhesion and helps to prevent the surface from chipping and cracking.
After coating Occasions furniture is then baked at between 200 & 300 degrees centigrade. Importantly, as we coat and bake each design as a single piece, there are no seams or joints between components. By using only the best colouring materials and techniques your Occasions furniture is always protected against colour peeling or lifting.
